Ibraheem Murtaza

Salaam and welcome to the UKYMSA! My name is Ibraheem Murtaza and I am a neuroscience major and Arabic and Islamic Studies minor from Owensboro, Kentucky. In my free time, I like to travel and spend time with family and friends. As our President, I will work to promote the success of all members in every facet of their lives. I will oversee all affairs, ensure board members are taking care of their responsibilities, and serve as a liaison for MSA with UK and other organizations. My goal in the MSA is to be a guide for students on campus and to provide them with resources to help them maintain their religious practices. I also aim to communicate with students individually to build connections and allow them to use the MSA as a safe and comfortable space. We intend to create an environment that empowers our members through establishing positive connections with everyone.

By the will of Allah, these goals can be accomplished. We encourage you to explore our website and to contact either me or any other board member for questions.
